Principal's Update: Getting Ready for the 2019-2020 School Year

The administration and staff are very much looking forward to another great year of working with the students and families at Northview High School and we are excited for the year to start!

THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR THE 2019-2020 SCHOOL TERM IS TUESDAY, AUGUST 13, 2019.

All students and families are invited to Northview High School on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 5:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. for our annual Open House.

During the Open House, students and families will be able to tour the school and meet Northview High School Staff.  Parents/Guardians and students will also have the opportunity to utilize our computer lab to enroll their child for the upcoming school year.

The District will again enroll every student on-line verses using the traditional paper enrollment forms. If you need assistance with on-line enrollment, please come to the Open House on Thursday, August 8th in order to ensure all necessary enrollment forms are completed prior to the first day of school.

If you have not provided the school with an e-mail address or your e-mail address has changed since last year, please contact the school with your e-mail address in order to assist in the online enrollment process.

For those of you who are new to our school, the office is open daily at 7:00am and closes at 3:30pm. The office phone number is 989-7300. Students arrive at 7:35am and depart at 2:15pm. Information regarding transportation for your child should be coming to you soon. The number to the bus garage is 989-7750 if you should have any questions about transportation. If you have moved or changed phone numbers, please alert the school as soon as possible.

One last piece of news: Northview H.S. will again be participating in the universal free school breakfast and lunch program! This means that all students will receive a school breakfast and lunch at no charge.

We hope you all enjoy the last days of summer before school starts and we are positive the year will be filled with new experiences and exciting opportunities for success. Please feel free to call the school if you have any questions about the upcoming school year or if you would simply like to say hello.

We are very much looking forward to seeing you all at the Annual Open House on August 8, 2019.

Respectfully,
Brian G. O’Connor, Principal
