Employment
Finding and keeping a job is an important part of everyone’s life. In high school, students with disabilities should be preparing to work or to volunteer in the community. Specific questions about services and plans for your son or daughter should be addressed in the transition plan in the Individualized Education Program (IEP).

When a student transitions from high school, there are several options for finding employment in the St. Louis County and city area.
